Preheat your oven to 450ºF.
Scrub the sweet potato, then poke it a few times with a fork. Wrap the sweet potato in foil and place it on a baking sheet. Put it in the oven and bake it for 40-45 minutes, or until it is soft.
Let the sweet potato cool down enough to be handled. Then, peel the skin off.
Place the sweet potato in a blender along with the paprika and liquid, and blend until smooth. Add additional liquid as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
