Edible Kinetic Sand

Kids LOVE to play with kinetic sand, but it can be pretty pricey. Here's a cheap and easy to make, edible kinetic sand that you can make with your kids!

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons hot chocolate powder

This recipe is from the book Awesome Edible Kids Crafts by Arena Blake.

To color this kinetic sand, mix oil based food coloring into the oil before adding it to the flour. Also, substitute extra flour for the chocolate powder.

Store the kinetic sand in an air-tight container.
