Hi, I’m LeeAnne — a homeschool mom, creator and the person behind Raising Veggie Lovers.
I believe some of the best learning happens when kids are creating, asking questions, getting their hands messy and exploring the world around them. This is where I share the crafts, hands-on learning ideas, printables and everyday family experiences that help make that happen.
Raising Veggie Lovers has grown with our family.
Raising Veggie Lovers originally began with a big focus on food and raising adventurous eaters. Over the years, the site has grown right along with my family.
As homeschooling became a bigger part of our lives, so did crafts, science experiments, printables, field trips and all the creative ways learning happens outside of a traditional classroom.
Today, Raising Veggie Lovers is about helping families make room for curiosity, creativity and connection — whether that means making a craft at the kitchen table, turning everyday life into a lesson, trying a new printable or simply finding a little inspiration for family life.
You’ll still find recipes and food ideas here too. They’re part of our story — just no longer the whole story.
A little more about me.
I was born and raised in Hawaiʻi and now live in New Jersey with my family. I’m a mom of two and have been homeschooling for years, which means our days rarely look exactly the same.
I love finding ways to turn ordinary experiences into something kids can learn from — nature walks, cooking, crafts, travel, science, history and all the questions that seem to come up along the way.
I’m not trying to create picture-perfect childhoods or perfectly planned homeschool days. I want Raising Veggie Lovers to be a place where families can find ideas that feel doable, useful and genuinely fun.
