Total Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butternut squash cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • water, breast milk or baby formula if needed

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and cube the butternut squash.
  • Add the cubed butternut squash and sage to the Baby Brezza Food Maker, and set it to steam for 20 minutes and puree. And, seriously, that’s it! It will cook and puree it automatically, so when you take the lid off, you’ll have what is picture below. (If you need to thin out the puree a little, you can add water, breast milk or baby formula.)

Notes

  • You can save yourself time and effort buy purchasing pre-cubed butternut squash.

  • If you don’t have a Baby Brezza Food Maker, simply steam the butternut squash for 15-20 minutes, or until it is soft. Then, add it to a food processor or blender, along with the dill and a little bit of liquid (water, baby formula or breast milk) and then puree it until smooth.
