Time to make the patriotic paper plate hat!
Supplies:
Step 1: Cut a crescent shape out of the paper plate.
Step 2: Paint the paper plate blue, then let it dry completely.
Step 3: Paint white starts over the blue paint, and let it dry completely.
Step 4: Cut triangles out of the white and red papers, then glue them onto the back of the plate, as pictured below.
Step 5: Poke a hole (or use a hole puncher) on each end of the hat. Then, put a piece of yarn through one hole and tie a knot to secure it. Do the same with the other hole.
And that’s it! Tie the two strings around your child’s head and they’ve got a cute patriotic hat!
