This Snow Globe Christmas Card is such a fun craft to do with your kids this holiday season. Send the card to a loved one, or leave it out for Santa!
Not only is this Christmas card fun to make…it’s super easy! I’ve included a free printable to get you started!
This Snow Globe Christmas Card is:
- creative
- easy to make
- fun to play with
- customizable
- great to send to loved ones
- perfect for leaving out for Santa
You will need:
- the free printable
- 1 piece of colored construction paper or cardstock
- 2 pieces of plastic just large enough to cover the snow globe (recycled plastic wrapping, sheet protectors, plastic freezer bags, etc.)
- 1 picture (either a photo or a drawing) to put in the snow globe
- fake snow
- glue gun or double-sided tape
- glue or glue stick
- scissors
Step 1: Cut out the snow globe, as pictured below.
Step 2: Using a glue gun (or double-sided tape), glue one piece of plastic to the back of the snow globe. It’s important to make sure the hole is completely sealed, as you don’t want the snow to fall out.
Step 4: Add the fake snow to the center of the plastic, then glue (or tape) the second piece of plastic over it. Again, make sure it is completely sealed.
Step 5: Glue a photo or drawing on top of the plastic. Make sure the picture is facing down, so you can see it through the plastic.
Step 6: Using regular glue or a glue stick, glue the snow globe paper onto a piece of colored paper.
Step 7: Once the glue has dried, fold the card in half. Then, write your message inside.
