Açaí Smoothie Bowl

This açaí smoothie bowl uses açaí berries, bananas and blueberries to make a thick and delicious smoothie base. Finish your bowl off with your favorite toppings and enjoy it for breakfast or a healthy snack!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 açaí frozen smoothie pack unsweetened
  • 2 frozen bananas (about 1.5 cups)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup soy milk (or other non-dairy milk, or apple juice) plus more as needed
  • honey or sweetener of choice (optional) as needed

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend on high until smooth. Stop the blender and stir as needed. If extra liquid is needed for blending, add in 1 tablespoon at a time. You want to have a really thick smoothie, so try to add as little liquid as possible.
  • Spoon the smoothie into a bowl, then top with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately. ENJOY!

Notes

The key to a good smoothie bowl is having a thick smoothie.  A good, powerful blender plays a big role in this.
