Berry, Banana & Avocado Smoothie

This delicious Berry, Banana & Avocado Smoothie is great for the whole family! It's healthy, vegan, sugar-free, and loaded with omega-3 fatty acids!

  • Add the oats and hemp hearts to a blender and blend until it forms a powder (about 30 seconds – 1 minute).
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.  This recipe makes a thick smoothie, so you may have to stop and stir the mixture a few times.  If you don’t want your smoothie to be too thick, simply add more almond milk.
  • Pour into your favorite cup and serve immediately.  Enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute any kind of frozen berries, i.e. all blueberries, all raspberries, etc.
If you feel like you need to add some sweetener, use agave or honey (not for kids under one year old).
