Peanut Butter Cheerios Bars

These peanut butter Cheerios bars are a hit with the kids! They'll never know that they're healthy!

  • Add the peanut butter and honey to a bowl and microwave for 30-60 seconds, until the peanut butter is warm and gooey. Stir until fully combined, then set it aside.
  • Add the Cheerios, raisins and peanut butter mixture to a large bowl. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  • Add the cereal mix into an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper. Use a piece of parchment paper to press the cereal down evenly. Then, refrigerate it for at least an hour to allow it to set.
  • Remove it from the pan, then cut it into pieces. I like to make 2 cuts in one direction, then 5 cuts in the opposite direction to make 18 pieces. Enjoy!

Notes

  • These Cheerios bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator. They can also be kept in the freezer for up to a month. Thaw them out overnight at room temperature before serving.
 
  • For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
