My kids LOVE Rice Krispies treats…what kid doesn’t? And while I try to be the cool mom, and make them cute and fun treats on occasion (check out Cute and Easy Easter Chicks Rice Krispies Treats, Valentine’s Day Rice Krispies Pops, Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats), I try to balance them out with healthier alternatives.

That’s where these Cheerios bars come in. They’re a delicious and healthy alternative to other cereal bars. They have lots of protein from the peanut butter, and are sweetened with honey instead of marshmallows.

Absolutely! You can substitute the raisins with other unsweetened, dried fruit or nuts. You can also just omit them if you’d like.

Step 4: Remove it from the pan, then cut it into pieces. I like to make 2 cuts in one direction, then 5 cuts in the opposite direction to make 18 pieces. Enjoy!
