Easter pudding cups are the easiest (and cutest) Easter dessert for kids. The best part is that your kids can help you make them!
Are Peeps Vegetarian Friendly?
Peeps are not vegetarian friendly, since they contain gelatin. If you are vegetarian and want to make these pudding cups, you can use other Easter candies in place of the them such as Easter lollipops or chocolate bunnies.
If you’re up to it, you can also try this Homemade Vegan Peeps recipe!
Can I use any flavor of pudding in this recipe?
I used instant vanilla pudding in this recipe because of its neutral color and taste.
If you want to color your pudding like I did, you can also use white chocolate, banana, or any other neutral or light color pudding.

How do you make Cute and Easy Easter Pudding Cups?
Ingredients:
- vanilla instant pudding
- food coloring (I used pink and green)
- sweetened shredded coconut
- Peeps
- Cadbury Candy Easter Eggs
Supplies:
Step 1: Prepare the instant pudding according to the instructions on the box. Then, divide the pudding into as many colors as you’d like. I divided mine into three bowls. Use food coloring to color the pudding. I used pink and green and left one bowl “as is.”
Step 2: Layer the pudding into a clear plastic cup or glass jar, and repeat until all the pudding is used up.
Step 3: Add the coconut to a Ziploc plastic bag and add a few drops of green food coloring. Use your hands to squeeze and move the coconut around to distribute the color evenly. (I used 1 cup of coconut to 3 drops of food coloring).
Step 4: Add the green coconut to the top of each pudding cup. Then, top it with a Peep and some candy eggs. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
