These toilet paper roll reindeer are a cute winter craft to make with your kids during the holidays!
If you’ve read my other posts, you know I love toilet paper roll crafts because I’m always looking for ways to upcycle them.
These reindeer are the perfect, last minute holiday craft. All you need are toilet paper rolls, this free printable, and a few common supplies. Make one reindeer, or make Santa’s whole crew!
Fun Reindeer Facts for Kids
- Reindeer are also known as caribou in America.
- Both male and female reindeer grow antlers.
- They shed their antlers and regrow them every year.
- Reindeer are great swimmers.
- They have hollow fur, which helps to keep them warm.

How do you make this toilet paper roll reindeer craft?
Supplies:
- free printable
- white cardstock
- toilet paper rolls
- brown paint
- markers, crayons or colored pencils
- scissors
- paint brushes
Step 1: Cut your toilet paper roll in half. Then, cut two out rectangles on the opposite sides of each other. These will be the spaces between the reindeer’s legs.
Step 2: Paint the toilet paper roll brown, both on the inside and outside. Let it dry.
Step 3: Print the template on white cardstock. Color the reindeer’s face and tail, then cut them out.
Step 4: Cut two small slits in the toilet paper roll, as shown below. Then, stick the reindeer’s head in one slit and its tail in the other.
