There’s no doubt that we should be thankful and show our gratitude everyday. But, with Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s a great time to remind ourselves of all the things we’re grateful for. Download this Tree of Thanks printable for a quick cut and paste activity that will help your kids think of all the things they are grateful for!
Books That Teach Kids To Be Thankful
Books are great ways to reinforce anything you are teaching your children. Check out these books to help teach your kids to be thankful.
Let’s do the Tree of Thanks activity!
You’ll Need:
- free printable template
- markers, crayons or colored pencils
- scissors
- glue stick
Step 1: Print the template on white paper. Then, color the tree and all of the leaves.
Step 2: Ask your child what they’re grateful for and write their answers on each leaf.
Step 3: Cut out the leaves.
Step 4: Glue the leaves to the tree. Then, glue the paper onto a piece of colored construction paper or cardstock (optional). Display it on your wall to be reminded about all the things to be grateful for.
